Fun little game once I realized I had to go right at the start. With the placement, it seems like you should go left, but that just puts the player on the other side of a bunch of spikes and can't make it back to the right. Maybe the start point is part way through for testing?

i love the music! the character moves a bit too fast, it feels like its sprinting all the time. good job for your first game jam tho!

Yeah there was a bug with godot where even though I moved the player to the start it didn’t register while exporting but now it should work!
